About the Air District

For nearly seventy years, the Bay Area Air District has led the way toward cleaner air for people living in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Air District has adopted groundbreaking regulations on business and industry, funded cleaner cars and trucks, and partnered with local governments to create a healthier environment.
